In reply to <a href="https://randylewis.org/arizona-speedway/#comment-369911">Scott</a>.

Hey Scott, Thanks for taking the time to write. As you probably know from seeing what I post on my website I am a trackchaser. The purpose of trackchasing is to see racing at as many DIFFERENT tracks as I can. A trackchaser is a bit different than a race fan. Of course, I am a race fan as well. I have been to Eldora 40 times...and that's not bad for a guy who lives in Southern California. The day I decided I was going to visit the Arizona Speedway they were having an enduro race for low-dollar stock cars. I think if anyone reads my Trackchaser Report they will see I offered compliments for several things that were happening at the track. At the same time I pointed out several items, late starting times, unnecessary time trials and more which made for a bad show for the fans. I can only review what I see and experience. I think the reader can come to their own conclusions as to whether I give an objective analysis of my experience on the day I visit the track. For anyone who hasn't read my report from my visit to the Arizona Speedway here's the link. https://randylewis.org/arizona-speedway/. Scott, thanks again for taking the time to write.

Arizona Speedway was one of the top tracks in the SW and a very good promoter. He booked some of the biggest dirt shows in Arizona and the SW. Only visiting a track once, and doing it on an oddball race weekend such as this enduro event, isn’t fair to grade it as you did. I have a difficult time finding any legitimacy in this website at all. Perhaps you should have attended a real race like the Wild West Shootout, probably the biggest late model dirt race (over $300k prize money), or the Wolrd of Outlaws or the ASCS National series or the USAC sprints and midgets on the same bill, etc etc etc. I could rattle off names of drivers who are a virtual all star list of dirt racers who have raced here. Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell and Tony Stewart were all recent winners at this track before it closed down due to the state trust land not renewing its lease as it expired (houses are being built on this land as we speak). I think you should do some more research on a track and get a general feel of it before or after you attend before giving your completely uneducated review.
