I've been hunting old photos of cherokee speedway and drivers photos from 1955 to 1975. My dad, Bobby Owens raced a little and his friend, Bill Ruppe. I was very young but I remember it well. THere was also a Richard Smith . . . know anyone who can help me? My dad is 71 and I'm trying to make him an awesome birthday present for his birthday May first. I pray you can help me or know someone who can. Thanks so much!

We may have killed a few people in the 1960s, but at least they weren't 15-year old girls (Bubba's, Ocala, FL, 3-22-14). 18 to drive a stock car, 21 to drive an open wheel roll bar race car -- the pits were a kinder, more gentle place.
