In 1969 I drove Willard McCumsey’s #34 TQ midget with ATQMRA. Incredibly, Willie was friends with Mike Garcia, who often brought his #21 Crosley powered roadster east to run with ATQMRA. When we went west for races at Lorain County and Painesville, OH, Willie and I stayed with Mike Garcia and his wife, who were perfect hosts. You just never know!
