You did it. Is the ’55 Pontiac your first car to drive? My dad had several cars but the one I learned to drive was a ’58 Pontiac. I still remember how big that steering wheel was! I kept the fondest for Pontiac throughout my life and really enjoyed watching the Pontiacs win a lot of the early NASCAR races with Fireball Roberts & Jr. Johnson. But I digress, again your website is awesome.

You had your dark blue Falcon and I had my (parents) 66 Mustang. When we got to our destination you asked me how fast I was going (I was “pushing” it) and I did get up into the 70 mph range. Apparently your speedometer didn’t work and you had thought we were going 90 or something like that.

I really liked your yellow Mustang.
