PW, That's sounds like a fine plan. Wasn't familiar with the Colmar Blackhawks but sounds like a good group. Hopefully, you were able to eat INSIDE at Geno's. Randy. P.S. Getting a social life would be a good idea. Few trackchasers have one!

Well, you'll be happy to know I'm still zeroing in on my goal from 2016 to reach the 1000 track plateau by 2020. I'm going to pull out all the stops this year to fit trackchasing into my schedule as I continue to travel to see my friends from more than fifty years involvement in auto racing, press to complete significant race car restorations, attend local vintage race car events, and, who knows, I might work on a social life.........................On January 3, I attended the fifty years (or so) reunion for the Colmar Blackhawks hockey team (1966-1972 -- I played left wing on the '66-'67 and '67-'68 teams). Sixteen of us, including two from Ontario, met at Geno's in south Philly for a steak and spent a great evening at the Flyers-Hurricanes game in one of the corporate boxes. Even back to my security staff years at the old Spectrum, I haven't spent a better night at a Philly sports venue. Hockey players from 50 years ago have the same comradeship as racers from 50 years ago and all of us have 'colored outside the lines' a bit....................I have the indoor kart show at Wytheville, VA on February 23, the March Syracuse indoor event, and two more New Hampshire ice racing lakes on my list. I'll no doubt see several venues on my trip west in May to see Don Edmunds, but I'm also planning to make a few vintage race car events this summer plus all of the USAC eastern swing events. Stay between the fences.
