Hi Ricky,

Thanks for your note. You were looking at my wife Carol's track list. It is true she has not been to Riverside. However, if you were to look at my list you would see I went there back in 2007. Yes, Riverside is a historic track.

Am surprised that your travels have taken your through the Memphis area yet you have not attended Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis.

One of the longest operating tracks in the south. Operating continuously at same location since June 10th 1950. A track which has produced several National Sprint Car Hall of Fame members and home track to NASCAR young gun Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Would suggest you add this fast little bullring to your itinerary in the future. If you chose to do so my suggestion would be one of three events. The Hooker Hood Classic. Which honors Memphis area racing legend and NSCHoF member Clarence "Hooker" Hood. The Cody Burks Memorial a winged 305 special to memorialize 305 racer Cody Burks who lost his life at a young age in a traffic accident. Or the two night USCS Special at the end of the season.
