Hi Kim-Lien, Nice to hear from you. Sounds like your father was a wonderful man. Unfortunately when I went to the Duke City Raceway decades ago, I was not making any recordings of the races. All the best, Randy

Hi! My father, Milton Kendall had a television show in the 80s called Dirt Track Fever about this racing track! I used to go to dirt bike races as a child!
My father passed away in 2021 and I've been looking all over for ANY footage of his show!!!!
If you have heard about it, please reach out to me, it would mean the world!!!
We literally named our dog Duke after this race track and I GREW UP with Jerry Frazier's kids!!!!!

I raced cars on 69-70 there. 71ish I started my motorcycle career on the TT course w one of those giant concrete pipes covered as a jump-my bud ran over me that day lol.
A little later a yr or so I rode the 1/2 mile and won the heat. I almost kinda headed into turn one wall. I hit the compression release, down shifted too far shooting fire n sparks up thru the comm release. I still took first No Crash & only spun the bottom bearing.
I heard they shots scenes to a movie after demo, but used the score tower n starter stand.
Would you know the name of the movie?

Hi David, Thanks for your post. It's very cool that you raced at Duke City. Too bad it's no longer around. I have always enjoyed trackchasing in New Mexico. All the best, Randy
