The track was shaped kind of like the outline of a “t” with a long sweeping 180 at the bottom of the “t” and some hair-raising hill turns in the middle of the “t”. Don’t know exactly where that track was located, but it was known as “Wilmot”. I think they may have closed it as it didn’t seem very safe even at the time when I was only 9 years old. Dad raced a Formula V and there were also a lot of old Porsche Speedster convertibles that had tape on their headlights in case of rock spray. I wonder if the currentbtrack is on that old tack’s site.
