Old business!
Our daughter and her family gave me an electronic picture frame for my birthday. It’s a Skylight frame. Way cool. Anyone can send me a photo of any subject and it will somewhat miraculously appear in this picture frame. Then that picture will join the rotation that I see for hours each day. Now for the business at hand.
Before we get started today I wanted to share something with you that I think is very important. Did you know that everyone who has been added to my newsletter list has been personally vetted? You know they can do that on the Internet right?
Each of you has been vetted for your superior intelligence (almost Einstein-like), insight into the future and your willingness to share your intelligence and insight. Just thought I would share that.
Today I’m going to ask for your opinion on a couple of important topics. Hopefully, you’ll share your feelings about what I’m going to ask you. We’ve done this a couple of times in the past. I think the responses and the readership of those responses have been outstanding. As always I will ensure your anonymity to the fullest extent. Let’s get started.
Covid – Today
First I’m going to ask you what your current Covid experience has been for you, your family and your friends. Have you gotten your vaccines? Are you going to get a vaccine? Are you or do you know people who are not going to get a vaccine? Have they told you why that’s the case?
In general, has Covid been a big deal in your life? Or, has the impact of Covid been barely noticeable as you go about your daily activities? Feel free to answer these questions and anything else that you feel might relate to Covid and your lifestyle today.
Covid – Future
Secondly, I’m going to ask you where you think we’re going to be with Covid on July 4. That’s about five months from now. I know…the future is difficult to predict.
Are things going to be worse, about the same or much better? What do you think the outcome will or will not be from all of the things that are happening today with the United States Covid situation and the world for that matter. Generally, what is the world going to look like economically, medically and socially on July 4?
So many of you have provided quality responses to these types of questions in the past. I can’t wait to see what you’re going to share with the group now. Why don’t we set a deadline for your responses for this Sunday, February 14? I’ll gather the input and share your feedback as I have in the past. Please include your state location if you don’t mind.
Oh yeah, please attempt to keep the political comments down to a dull roar. I’ve found that when I share my political feelings the folks who agree with me think I’m a genius. The folks who don’t agree with me think I’m an idiot. I’m shooting for higher than a 50% approval rating!
I know that some of you for whatever reason haven’t shared anything in the past. I also know that the number of people who enjoy reading the overall responses of the group is high. Even if you haven’t shared in the past I’ll ask you to reconsider and provide just a few thoughts on the topics I’ve mentioned.
I’ll also try to answer these questions in the next newsletter from my and my family’s point of view. I suspect we will get a large number of responses and they will be varied in content. So, let’s go for it. Just tap reply to this message and share away.
